Vaccinations

Puppies and kittens require several sets of vaccinations to be protected:  6, 9, 12, and at 16 weeks old.  AWHAR ensures those are done when needed.  IF that time frame is not adhered to (give or take one week), then, the series must be started over.  So timing is very important and done per the Vets’ recommendations.

Adult dogs always get a complete exam, heartworm/fecal test, microchipped, and vaccinated.  IF our rescue has other health problems, AWHAR will have that rescue medically treated, which includes, but is not limited to, heartworm treatment, orthopedic repair of broken bone, ophthalmic treatment/surgery of eye(s), or any other condition diagnosed by our Vet.

Adult cats always get a complete exam, FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) and Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV).  For more information, check out this website.
